My god, why have we never been introduced before this? via Bijou's Style Miss Unkon
I am back and I am back with more time up my sleeve. I have finished college (yay) and I have applied for more internet speed (yay#2). I have been thinking lately after browsing my Oyster mag. There was a feature in it with a blogger. She spoke of how she wanted to make her blog different from the rest. This is something I worry about every day. I want this blog to be original, I want it to be down to earth, authentic and true. However isn't that what we all want? Don't we all wish that there would be someone thousands of miles/kilometres away that is talking about our blog to a friend?
What makes a blog different? Is it the beauty and great style of the creator, like rumi of Fashion Toast or Natalie from Natalie Off Duty? Is it their links with the fashion industry and the update inside information? Is it the poetic and visually beautiful blogs that inspire us with beautiful quotes and pictures? Or perhaps it is the girl (tweens also -_-) that have been brought up in a wealthy family who just cannot help but to show off their new LV luggage, or their Chanel clogs?
I am still trying to find myself. My interests spread far and beyond. I could blog about anything from food to travel, fashion to religion. That is just me. I don't have money, I do not go out for coffees 4 days a week with the ladies looking fine in my designer, I do not have my nails done, I do not have healthy beautiful hair. My competitive nature totally rips me apart. I want it all, but I know I cannot. I want the recognition, I want the lifestyle, I think I am losing it.
Damn you blogging world, damn you!
