These are by Scottish Designer Chloe McCormick and are just splendid.

A combination of 3D printing technology (additive manufacturing/laser sintering) and traditional embroidery - and mastering it!

"ChloĆ« came up with the concept whilst studying for the Textile Futures MA at Central Saint Martins where she was able to experiment with laser sintering machines at a London based prototyping bureau."

I am in love.

There is more to the designer here where she has even created prototypes for furniture design based on this concept! Oh the future is so bright.

PS, you will be seeing lots more posts like this from me in regards to textiles, details with of course collections, DIYs and techniques.

  2. These are so great! (!!) I had to stop myself from capslocking that entire sentence because my initial reaction was extremely excitable, and looking as though you're yelling at someone over the internet is never a good idea.
