Australian powerhouse fashion designers Willow, Camilla and Marc, Dion Lee and Ellery have all stamped their Australian aesthetic upon Paris fashion week. I am always interested in reading style.com's reviews of the Australian collections, and they all say the same for each designer - that these clothes (despite released globally) are not Northern Hemisphere fall-friendly. Whilst this may be true, it sure is hard to accomodate both local and international markets. Taking this into account I congratulate our Aussie talents, for serving the best of both worlds.

Overall, I'm impressed. Maybe it was just my choices of imagery, but it seems to me that monochrome was universal and perhaps safe decision making. Anyway, black... white... I am sold.

Dion Lee's cyclone/hurricane print skirt is absolutely divine styled with a sheer mesh top, and the wide brimmed hats in Ellery's collection will without a doubt be a hot item for this year's Splendour in the Grass festival.
